This stabilization of the head, irrespective of the orientation or movement of the body, is common to all bird species. I have never understood it. Anyone know why? https://t.co/sQ0Aj5bz1N

@nopeavitus2twit All species??? Fish don't even have necks. Neither do whales, dolphins, crabs. And few species with necks display this behavior. Humans certainly do not.
