Authorities doubt studies showing Covid-19 has infected many more than the reported numbers from testing show - making its death rate less then the flu. But the studies are correct. Let's use math: Fewer than 1% of the world population has been tested. Extrapolate the numbers
If 1% of the Word's general population has been tested and a number - "X" were infected, then the likely REAL number of infections is 100 times X. Death rate is is determined by dividing deaths by total infections. Thus the death rate is 100 times less. Math folks- help me out

@FredBrooker Yes they do. They use the same method of extrapolation - do a few random tests around the world and extrapolate. That's how math works.

@Posh_Jim I'm using numbers directly from testing countries. England, for example, RANDOMLY tested 150,000 people. 21% were found to be infected. Look up England's population and deaths from the virus. Truth only comes by doing the work of finding it yourself.
@JD_Hoy We're dealing with differences so fast, that even if one half of the tests were unreliable, it makes little difference in the outcome. Does no-one study math anymore????

@7Lowe England did random testing three weeks ago. 150,000 tested. 20% positive.
