@MancunianQuiet I was underspeaking. People always accuse me of exaggeration. I'm trying a reverse tactic. Yes I invented the term "underspeak"., as in "He underspoke WWII when he described it as a neighborly dispute". it is not the same as understatement, which is merely a minor unexaggeration.
